Danner walking shoes.

Tash if you are considering spending £160 on walking shoes these are worth considering…

Made in Yorkshire too!

They have some great looking walking boots that I have my eye on but I’ve only just got a new pair of Brashers so it will have to wait a year or two ☹️

I’d honestly avoid Altberg boots or walking shoes. Admittedly they’re really robust and take a pounding, but they’re extremely heavy as footwear goes. Pretty much everyone I work with has ditched the Alterberg boots for that reason, the weight of them do prolonged walks really causes the feet and legs to ache.

Unless you get the Altberg Sneaker boot or shoe which is there ultra lite version but your looking a fair bit over £160 for those.

Interesting, I’ve only ever seen them online, I’ve never handled a pair.

So today I popped up to the shirebrook sports direct store and tried in a pair of new balance goretex trail shoes. They were like carpet slippers. And there in started the problem. They were the last pair in store. Size 8’s only there was no price on them. Online showing £98. In store £115. Shove that. So I sat down in store in store and ordered a pair online for £98 with £5 delivery. Eventually am sorted. Thanks everyone.
