Have had a busy day repairing the light under the stairs (these jobs always take longer than planned as the previous owner did love a bodge job) , and then managed to put up the new bathroom cabinet the Mrs asked me to build so least I've achieved something

Sat down to my first meal (burrito) was blooming delicious

Quick enough to crack on with the tidying up after all that mess making and doing the last few bits to finish just in time for everyone to arrive home from school.

Definitely impressed with simmer thus far. Makes it easier if the meals are like that , all good 👍
Had a Quick Look at the meals on their website and was impressed by the fact that they didn’t seem full of processed foods. Not for us as we enjoy cooking (and have the time) but they look like they are at the better end of ready meals

As I’m in the office tomorrow, my wife and I did our Turbo Tuesday workout today -2.5 mins ski erg, 2.5 mins fast bike (low resistance) for 30 minutes. Hard work but enjoyable afterwards

Yes looking at this it all seems just stuff around the kitchen rather than the additives they pump in normal ready meals

Next week's box will be split 4/4 for next week and then 4 frozen for the following week

Week after I have lots of time so skip another week and we just eat meals together

Monday I will batch cook up about 15 curries for the freezer to bulk this all out until mid march

Shoulders and back session for me today again with my PT. Then into some leg work to strengthen around my arthritic knee. I can't tell you the difference between this PT and others I have seen. It's like night and day!

I’m assuming in a good way 😂😂
What’s the main difference?
Always seems a lottery PT instructors.

Oh yes a good way. He seems to know before I do that another rep will be too much strain on my neck for one. Really working on trying to correct 40+ years of doing a desk job.

5k run with a friend from work, for her London marathon training.
1k warmup, 3 k progressively faster and a 1k warm down.
Best I’ve felt for a while. Think I need to get rid of my 4 older pairs of trainers as new pair tonight hip injury felt pretty good.

@AmandaJR
So took 2 meals with me today (salt and chilli chicken for lunch and jerk chicken for dinner) my colleague who also has these said eat the plantain first with the jerk as it doesn't microwave great.

Lunch was nice. Chicken could do with being crispy, maybe oven cooking them would solve but was still a nice lunch

Dinner .. glad I followed his guide. Rest was lovely tho

The wife had her jerk chicken for dinner at home. Not as much of a fan but she prefers chicken breast this was thigh. She could also air fry some chicken breast up and then do herself salad and be very content at home where as work is a lot easier 3 mins and just eat this. However the time she saved tonight as the kids were at clubs so she was doing the drop offs etc .. she got the chicken for our dinner tomorrow prepped and veg cut so what she saved tonight worth it.

Will continue at least until the 30% lasts but if it carries on being this easy to get ready for work (grab 2 meals out the fridge and some eggs for breakfast) then I'm game .. speeds up no end

Chest and triceps tonight
4 x sets of each….

Dumbbell bench press
Incline Dumbbell bench press
Fly Machine
Smith Machine Close grip bench press
Bent bar tricep pull down, super set with ez bar bicep curl (no rest in between).

Really good session tonight.

I need to stick to my pre planned route which will stop me getting lost. 4 miles turned into 6 at lunchtime, nearly made me late for a meeting. Good job we're not a compulsory camera on company, sweating hell.
Try planning routes on Kamoot I think it is, a free use site.
I use Strava as I’m a premium member so can use the route planner there
