Losing Interest in Pro Golf on TV

I never really watched it anyway apart from the majors. It doesn't help that these days all the majors are wrapped up in a four month window, then you've got eight months to wait for the next one. On non-Ryder years anyway.

I watch plenty of PGAT golf, but LIV is unwatchable to me.

The Player's Championship is the best tournament of the year.

I watch less of the Majors because of too many LIV players and their antics.

If the Saudi players take over the Ryder Cup, I'll watch less of that.

We live in a world now with plenty of options of things to do and things to watch. I think that golf as a product, is not the best thing to watch. It lasts too long, there's too little happening, and there are too many adverts. So when I have a choice between the above and watching a good film, TV programme, or football, golf isn't even a consideration.

I love playing golf but I only really watch The Masters and The Open now.

‘Antics’?! It’s the golf Majors, not Wacky Races!!

Too many US courses look virtually the same week in, week out....
There are exceptions but many holes could be from a multitude of courses..
Plus they take too damn long
Agree with all of the above. Also, when you have a winning score at 30 under par, not really interested in watching 6 hours of pitch & putt

Antics:

Dechambeau ....with his scientist and fake man of the people act. IMO

Hatton ..... with his foul mouth, throwing his club routine.

Niemann ...... with his constant whining of not getting invites to the majors.

etc....etc.... Yes, antics. They've become quite annoying, so I watch less.

Just me though, each to his own.

Ryder cup is great viewing from day one for me.
I enjoy the majors, but obviously helps if it’s tight after 3 rounds.
Other than that it can be pretty dull unless I’ve had a bet on it & my pick is in contention.

Looks like Rory agrees with most on here. He is saying that the PGAT needs to scale back on the amount of golf it is playing. He say 47-50 competitions is too much.
So, I imagine that Rory wants the PGAT to play 14 tournaments like the Saudi League.

Rory needs to just shut up and stop talking.
