LIV Golf

Looks like they've got this guy, ranked number 2 in the World Amateur standings.

Coody is in the field at the Myrtle Beach Classic (The 'B' League event) this week as an alternate after 10 people WD'd

He's made 1.5 million dollars in 43 events, making 22 cuts

Chacarra has made 18 million dollars - played alongside and against some of the best players in the world and is now building his career up with the aim of establishing himself on the PGAT. He's in the USPGA Championship next week and ranks higher than Coody on Data Golf, TUGR, and even the OWGR.

Although it didn't work out for Chacarra on LIV, his time there has established him financially, and the knowledge he will have gained off his team mates will have been invaluable.

LIV is the better option for any aspiring young player. (y)

Did Chacarra qualify for the PGA via LIV or DP World tour performances?

What Chacarra has done is be given more money through LIV

He is now earning his way into majors and events via his performances on the DP Tour

The one that has the better pathway to the majors and Ryder Cup

Chacarra was binned out of LIV and his earning his way into events through his performances

Any young pro can see what he and the likes of Aberg , Hovland , Hojgaards etc can achieve through earning your way

So why isn't Coody earning his way - they were in the same place at the same time a few years back. Now one of them is praying for drop outs to get into second fiddle PGAT events while the other is qualifying for majors and winning international events on multiple tours.

Chacarra has gained money and knowledge on LIV and beyond, and that will give him a huge advantage going forward.

Maybe because Coody isn’t good enough ?

There have been countless top Am’s that have had very good college careers but haven’t made it as professionals

So what you are saying is that LIV can be a good feeder tour for the PGAT and DP tour ? His main advantage was gaining money

But who has had a better career so far Aberg or Chaccara

I'm saying that of the two players who had LIV opportunities, the one that took the opportunity has benefited massively while the other player has struggled - if Coody had gone to LIV, he'd be a better player than he his now - and he'd be financially set.

Laurie Canter is a better player post LIV as well.

And Aberg is a class above Chacarra, and always will be.

You couldn’t make it up could you.

Livs biggest cheerleader accidentally confirms what everyone else is thinking. That Liv is the equivalent of a mini tour. Maybe stick to posting tweets 🤣.

I’d love an explicit as to what players learn from their team mates. Smells like bs to me.

It’s very strange that someone takes such an interest in how much money other people earn.

A much better anology would be comparing it to a football club academy, the lesser players not good enough for the 1st team are moved on to play at a lower level where they can continue to develop.

And of course they learn from playing alongside better players - every golfer does, regardless of ability.

So the lessers move onto to LIV whilst the top players go to the PGAT 😉😁

With 5bn they could’ve bought every child in UK a full set of clubs, trolly, gloves, balls & apparel plus golf lessons and a jnr membership! Now that’s growing the game
If PIF are interested in growing the game (and their market/audience), it's probably outside of the US and UK, particularly Asia, where the potential is much greater.

Could have done it in areas where golf isn’t as accessible to kids - we have lots of programs in the UK and prob the US and SA

But it’s tough in the Middle East and far east

How does playing in limited field events with no cut and guaranteed prize money make someone a better player. I have always thought that having to learn to fight and grind it out made you better, not being handed everything on a plate.
