If he gets injuries then he can’t play golf at all then he isn’t left with any choice
If at the end of 2026 he decides to not play any tournaments apart from the majors then that’s a choice , a very strange choice and prob close to retiring from competitive golf to make social media videos
It would be imo a very extreme choice to give it up at his peak and playing in Ryder cups etc

Let's not move the goalposts.
Koepka, Kim, Baker-Finch, Duval, Walker, Day, Donald, Woodland, Berger, Zalatoris, ...; the list really does go on and on. Even Woods and Nicklaus had their careers hampered by significant health issues.

As I said not a very long list and even shorter list of those who were at BDC age when their game went into decline

The tour is struggling to get the big name players to jump since Rahm , a lot of the names that came across early will be coming to end of their career and there isn’t much of a pathway
If BDC stops playing on LIV then Rahm and Hatton next and that’s the tour left with very little assets and imo would see it become just the International Series as Part of the Asia Tour
If they sign BDC to a new contract then it keeps going because he can bring in a lot

What makes you think Rahm and Hatton are next?
The PGAT would have to create another spurious ruling for Hatton to go back of course..
As for no other assets - I’d take some time to observe where the fans turn out and who they root for - because it definitely isn’t all about 2 or 3 players.

Rahm I think would love to go back to play on the PGAT but is committed to his contract
Hatton will just end up playing ET until eligible
And both clearly want to be on the next Ryder Cup team in Ireland
It’s a big year coming up for LIV

I can’t wait for the actual Golf to start on LIV this season to watch something different and in hope this thread becomes about the actual golf being played instead of the same crap being posted about things that factually can’t be proven.
