PGA Tour coming across to me as bitter and twisted.
Not this forum, but general social media never fails to disappoint.
Couple of days ago one of the pages put out the usual 'should there be a 5th major?' post generator.
In amongst the usual stuff, someone was making a decent fist of why they thought the Waste Management should be. Obviously it shouldn't, but fair play for the effort. Big crowds etc.
Today, similar post about the Detry news. Predictably followed by scores of the posts of 'who?' from the apparent PGAT die hard golf experts.
If only Detry had won on the PGAT in 2025

So you missed Tommy’s victory then? Not a surprise
Nothing more annoying than when the Players comes around and we here the constant “5th major” - unofficial major
Thinking back to last year and I think that was the last PGAT I watched for more the 5 mins
So you missed Tommy’s victory then?
That’s just pathetic imo not allowing someone to play because they effectively did punditry and just makes PGAT look sad and bitter.
Also, what happens if LIV unearths the next superstar - hypothetical I know, but suppose they find a young talent that starts winning multiple majors.. Why are the PGAT putting themselves in a position where that player would not be permitted to take part in PGAT events for a full 12 months if they then chose that is the career path they wanted?
LIV are now clearly looking to recruit younger players (Bhatia has turned down an offer today) - eventually they'll get one that is the real deal, and I just can't see the logic in the PGAT maintaining that anybody involved with LIV has to serve a 12 month abstinence from LIV before they can then go and play on the US tour.
For someone to show they are the real deal etc then they would need to show it in the majors which then comes with exemptions etc
The PGAT and their bans could help the European Tour
If there is a situation where a superstar comes through LIV and they want to branch out , they can play on the ET for 12 months etc before moving on or staying on the ET
It’s time for the ET to play it clever and offer a pathway for anyone who is leaving LIV
His only one.Which one was that ?
His only one.
Interesting has someone been telling porkies about what they watch. Or just spending to much time stalking Liv for comments

Ah the Fed Ex CupHis only one.
If I was Guy Kinnings I'd be focussing a lot of my attention on brokering the deal that get's the DPWT off the hook with the PGAT, and develops a working relationship with the PIF and all the existing DPWT partners.
Have they announced who is replacing Stenson? The promo video suggests it's an all British team now. Is that the case?
