LIV Golf

I played at Hoylake a few months after The Open - practice ground looked like The Somme. I guess thats what happens when you try and turn golf into a commercial spectator operation?
You're trying to defend the indefensible although to be fair the Waste Management on the PGA is no better.

Guess this is what happens when you try to turn golf into a party game

This sort of thing happens occasionally, including in majors and Ryder Cups, but because it's LIV it's suddenly the end of the world? Do me a favour.

And to correct the sensationalism - the greens were not even close to being "ruined". They'll take longer to recover from being shaved down to run at ridiculous speeds for tournament play than having a few dozen feckless idiots walking across them.

What about the bunkers? I'm assuming play was still in progress as a caddie in a boiler suit was trying to rake the bunker. I've never seen anything like that at any other event apart from the WM. Certainly yobbish behaviour from the crowds but never anyone encroaching on any parts of the course.

Don’t recall seeing those sort of actions at the Ryder Cup - did you not see what they were doing to the bunker

The caption states "after LIV Golf"; and the "caddie" bit was obviously a skit staged for clicks and likes (clue: none of the caddies on LIV are dressed in Augusta National-style boiler suits).

Amazing there is no coverage of this in OZ........

but maybe because PGA screwed us with their wrap around season and our
season was decimated, we are just glad to have top class golf back down under.

But you keep talking down LIV if that keeps you happy.

Watched LIV tournament live on free to air and did not see it, not saying it did not happen, but this is the first I have heard about it...
have talked to plenty of people who also watched the event and it has never been mentioned.
