Ladies British Open.

I know she is wearing a mini skirt but thats a bit Harsh as she is just trying to look purdy!:smirk:

And here we have a slight problem. Girls generally like to present themselves well in public - and look nice - and if they make themselves look pretty as possible they will - and for many if that means wearing a padded or push-up bra or tummy-tucker they will. It's a fact - I have an 18yr old daughter and know her she and her friends think - and I can see with my own eyes how they dress if they are gong to be out in public view. So for blokes to comment upon how female golfers look, and their dress and attire is hardly surprising. A lot of girls dress to feel good by looking nice. And if we say 'she looks nice' they'll be pleased - so if we say 'that's not a good look' how can we be damned as being sexist.

Fortunately Lizette Salas and a few others dress rather more conservatively! Right sort of gear to be hunting in the whins though!

Seems to be a 'Sky Blue' week for Gulbis though.

Some pretty good golf and just the right sort of conditions to be 'interesting'!

By the amount of posts on this thread,i take it we don't give a dam about
womens golf.

Well, I was up there today so not online. Thoroughly enjoyed it and scored a free ticket in the car park.... without having to do anything unpleasant! :)

Didn't post much on the thread since it was descending into the usual forum nonsense whenever women's golf is "discussed".

Personally I watched every minute of the tournament that I could and I was gutted yesterday when I got home and put BBC on the box to find play had been stopped! Love watching the ladies play as their game is much more relevant/similar to my own game than the guys and its more interesting to watch than the normal smash and putt on the PGA tour, but I wish the players would stop getting their caddies to line them up on every shot!

Was willing NYC to win - don't know if she got a bit nervy or isn't used to 36 hole days!

I to watched every bit of it that I could around my work schedule, like cookelad I prefer watching the womens game as I can relate to it far more and really looking forward to the solheim cup

Watched quite a bit of it in between a few other tasks.

Excellent charge by the winner. Disappointing last round for Matthew - and Pressel!

Silver Medal shared?

Not sure about a British winner, but I am very disappointed with the lack of tv coverage these ladies might not hit the ball as far as their msil counterparts but on approch, short game and putting there really isn't much in it. I just hope the solheimcup gets better covarage.

BTW they still hit it miles; I was very impressed/annoyed by it! :)

They still hit it further than most men on here but we all know forum distances are really used for measuring masculinity. I was very impressed with how the women golfers played the conditions hoping to get to an LET event next year.
