Common sense says yes?
If it’s not how do you play your next shot?

Agreed. What happened when the flag was straightened up? Did it drop or not? The answer would be revealed after that.
So how would you remove the flag? It’s not holed
The ball is at rest with no part below the level of the putting surface.
So how would you remove the flag?
Not sure when the pic was taken ?I wouldn't as it's Covid rules, but in normal times I'd use my hand.
What happens if the flag is removed and the ball can't be replaced without falling into the hole?
Is my post with the Rule and screenshots invisible? ?

Agreed. It's a poor ruling. The rule should state that the ball is replaced in the exact position, if it topples in then it is holed..... IMHO.
Well how can it topple in if none of it is in the hole?? ?
The rule is perfect, if some of the ball is below the hole it is holed.
In this case, the ball is obviously not in the hole ?.
What Imurg says, the only thing stopping the ball falling in is the flag stick. Are you allowed to straighten the flag...using your putter of course..?
If the ball drops does that count.?
Thats the way it was done before you were allowed to keep the flag in....
Agreed, the ball is in without the pin holding it up.What Imurg says, the only thing stopping the ball falling in is the flag stick.
You say good rule, I say poor rule. End of.
Not sure when the pic was taken ?
