What a shot from Kjeldsen - Pepperell with a golden chance after that drive and thats a poor iron shot

Very nearly came back out - great win for Kjeldsen - great birdie

Pleased for Kjeldsen as he seems to have been treading water for quite a while now. After having the tournament in his grasp when he was playing his second on the 72nd hole he must have feared his chances had then disappeared.

The winners were under par so the answer I would give is - no.

Not sure why people have been moaning. It just make the spectacular shots even more... well 'spectacular' and its nice to see the pros struggling.

Enjoyed watching the last day far more than any other tournament so far. Such a great course and the range of shots required in the wind just added to the interest. Wish they played more tournaments on the great links courses like this.

2 weeks ago there was a thread asking if courses were too easy. Now one asking if they're too hard. I'd say they're about where they should be. Some are always going to be easier than others, but RCD certainly isn't too hard, it's great to watch the pro's struggling!

This, but I do think links golf can be a tee time lottery. We watched the Scottish open last year and it amazed me how relevant to good scoring the right tee slot was. What did make me chuckle was we were talking to one of the club committee members of royal Aberdeen who said " we have spent 2 months sowing the greens down and thinning the rough out, the pga didn't want players going to the main open deflated. Members are not happy with what we have had to do to the course to meet the needs of pro golfer " ...... TARTS!

This is the only part of links golf I don't like, but....... It's great to watch them have to hack out of knee deep cabbage etc.

See I don't like people having to hack out of foot of rough, trying to advance it 100 yards down the fairway if they're lucky.

I understand the need to be punished for hitting a bad golf shot but I would rather the professional hit the bad shot be left in a tricky spot with options available to them so they can hit a great shot in to redeem themselves. Mickelson at the 2010 Masters is a great example of this.
