Irish Open

Shane Lowry, I think he's coming on very nicely on tour and is showing some form - and i will be watching it...

Paddy Harrington has been playing solid recently so i could see him being up there if he can remember how to play proper courses rather than big open yank fields :D

Its his home course now aswell .. he doesnt seem too over confident of his own chances tho , then thats probably to take the pressure off himself .. Might go up Saturday for a look at a bit of it ,

Big Shane is going to do it. The lad hits it straight and has a short game Westwood would die for. Plus hes won an irish open title already so knows what its like to get over the line.

Rory paving the way for another weekend off. I wonder is caroline is playing this weekend?!

I honestly believe that these now state side based euro's come to play these events (inc the BMW) half arsed, treat it as a visit home to see friends and family, miss the cut, have the weekend catching up with whoever then back to the US again!

I wonder how many cuts you have to miss before sponsors start thinking, we've made a mistake here

Quote from Rory after his round........Sound familiar to anyone here

After the round, McIlroy admitting to feeling “lost” on the course.

“At the moment, no aspects of my game are strong and I’m just feeling a bit lost at the moment,” he told reporters. “It feels good on the range and I can hit all the shots but when I get out on the course it really does not seem to be there.

/welcome back to our world Rory ;)
