I usually play our senior's open, all entrants pay £15 which includes a £2.50 food voucher.
Well worth entering as it pays out 12 prizes, split evenly between 2 age categories, which used to be between 3 categories.
I've come close a few times, the local knowledge helps a bit lol.

All our opens are AmAm or pairs betterball. No singles.
We have one mixed open that is a scramble.

Three forumers have joined me this year and last year to play in our charity open AmAm.
Missed our over 60s open AmAm this year, as I was away on holiday.

Our Seniors Open is £19 including coffee and a 1 course meal

Our club Open is £23.50 just for the golf comp.

I play in the former but not the latter.
Nice how your club is doing their bit making sure the pensioners get a decent meal.😂

Our main men's Open was £45 for visitors and £15 for members. Didn't play this year but have in the past.
