Joined club in august. Submitted my 3 cards with congu average of 25. Club gave me 21.
Spent month or so working hard but getting no where near handicap.
Began seeing progress in sept and oct and got the handicap down to 19 before qualifying closed.
Spent the winter playing every week, practicing hard and taking lessons and cant wait for the season to start again.

Ive been regularly shooting 40+ points last few months and getting called all the names under the sun by the boys i play with lol

Looking through my cards since qualifying closed and assuming CSS of 36 each week i would be playing off 14.5 right now.

Surely its not my fault my handicaps not dropping? all cards are being submitted to the club and i wouldnt mind a cut. Goal is to get to 12 this year so earlier the cuts come the better.....roll on the 31st, tho no doubt ill knob it round that day!!!

I wouldn't call you a bandit it's natural that if you are practising and progressing you will score lower until your h/c levels out, . The club probably gave you 21 as it's your lowest card that counts, not the average. It won't be long til you reach a closer number to your true h/c and then you'll start calling the lad who just joined the club and is whopping you off his 25 h/c a bandit ;)

It's good progress - keep it up!

dont worry about it,my old club gave me a handicap of 15 by the end of following year i was 5.9...handicaps level out..just keep practicing and enjoying it
