If I drove the ball like Bubba Watson my handicap would be .... shots better

How many shots lower would your handicap be?

3-4 off for me.
And it's not all about the short game.
What use is a great short game if it takes you 4 shots to get to the green on a par 4?
If you were able to drive 300 yards+ you would be hitting, I guess, 3-4 clubs less than you would normally into a typical par 4 green.
So our 2 450 yard par 4's I'd be hitting a 8/7 iron in instead of a 4iron/hybrid.
That means I'll more often than not par them rather than bogey them.
I'd also be driving 2 of our shorter par 4 holes and could reach all 4 par 5's in 2.
I could almost reach our 1st and would be pitch'n'putting for a birdie

Even if they don't all come off every time that has to save me 3-4 shots a round.

Lot's...

That would see me driving a good few par 4's and the ones not driven would just leave a wedge in, so far this year i'm averaging 31 putts and my short game is saving my scores, averaging over 300 yards off the tee would make a huge difference to me.

I play off 12, but only average about 200 yards with the driver. The benefit of 100 yards + on all the par 4's and 5's would halve my handicap surely?

I was thinking along these lines. If you are like me, it could make long par 4s something to enjoy rather than play as par 5s. :)

I'll take Bubba's drive and second shot on our par 5s please... :)

Exactly the same as it is now apparently according to a number of people on here even though modern equipment allows us to hit it farther and straighter the game is not any easier.

Theres no doubt I would be scratch or better.
Hitting 330 as apposed to 250 is a massive advantage.
Instead of a 4 rescue in it could be a 9 iron.
Lots more birdie opportunitys due to hitting par 4s in 1.

Lots and lots and lots better.
It's the long game that is killing my handicap and my short game and putting that has saved me so far. That is why I'm working on a new swing to get more consistency.
