Really weird as everytime I went to putt I was thinking about this and was sinking them from everywhere.

Don't I know it 
I had 27 consecutive holes on the putting green practicing today. Does that count at all. Finished with a drained 10 foot single putt so the streak is still alive. If you saw the state of the practice putting green at the moment it is actually quite an achievement

Managed to get 9 in yesterday and no 3 putts despite a hwoling gale so pretty pleased with that aspect. However its not all that great as a couple which were a few inches off the green ended up as 3 shots to get in the hole - not strictly a 3 putt but it felt like it especially as one flag was only about 8 foot away from where I was on the fringe!!
Thats me done though - cant play till next Sunday so won't extend that run in the time available.

I didn't actually have any 3 putts yesterday, but I didn't finish out on the 7th hole after loosing 2 balls, so I suppose that is me down for 6 holes then.

Well, thanks to a couple of cancelled lessons - not good for the finances but good for the golf - I managed to get out again today in 30mph winds gusting to 40 or more and...............
Still no 3 putt.

That makes 3 rounds in total but the first one isn't counting - still think we need a Steward's Inquiry!
So 36 3-putt free holes so far with another round to come on friday.
Mind you I needed a couple of 10 footers to keep it going - phew........

I might be misunderstanding and am completely wrong, but a lot of posts read like they think the competition ends this Saturday.
I've taken it as meaning the last day to start is this Saturday, then you see how long a streak you can get, however long it takes.
Am I wrong?
