I hate eBay - Non Payers

Used MyHermes once to send a set of clubs to Alex on here. They took 10 days to get to him and the box was a bit battered to say the least. After I complained to them they offered me a free delivery for my next parcel. Haven't took them up on the offer though, I dare not risk them again.
On another note I also had a non paying buyer last month its a right pain in the rear when you don't get the money even after repeated messages, AND I couldn't leave negative feedback either which seems to defeat the object of the system.

Ive used MyHermes 60+ times to send all sorts.
Never bad a problem and never paid more than a tenner - even for a set of irons.
Post Office is extortionate in their pricing. I sent a £45 pound shaft fully insured for £2.78 the other day......

this

My heart sinks when I see MyHermes as the courier, it guarantees that I won't get the item for a good 2/3 days after it has supposed to arrive. I think it really depends on who does the deliveries in your area and unfortunately for me the guy in mine is a reject.

the myhermes twitter account guys action anything immediately- top service

Just a question, looking it in more detail. I have actually paid the £25 for Parcelforce 24. But as expected it hasn't arrived, Is there anything I can do?

The skeptic in me needs to ask. What happens if the box arrives tomorrow with Parcelforce 48 stickers?

If your item is posted via a different method than that for which you have paid for, then raise it with the seller, ask for a refund of the difference of the 2 services, paid for/used.
If no joy.
Raise it with ebay, open up a case.

Btw, even if a 24hr service was paid for, doesn't mean they will arrive the next day after you paid.
The seller may take days just to post, and some sellers state this.
Ask the seller for a tracking number.....??

Perhaps we've been lucky but when we experience slow payer we always use the option to send an invoice after the 3 days the buyer's allowed. Then raise case with Ebay payments has always been made (so far!)

Following on from my displeasure before, I still have no clubs.

They were marked as dispatched on Monday, and the £25 postage was marked for parcelforce 24. (I didn't realise before, £25 for next day delivery is reasonable.) With estimated delivery for tuesday the 17th.

Still no clubs, Contacted the seller and he said he imagined they would be here today as his missus' posted them. Whats the protocol here? So i'm reluctant to send any angry messages, as I don't want to rock the apple cart, I just want the clubs. If they ever do arrive, can I get money from the postage back or is it best just to leave it?

you can open a dispute and put it in ebays hands or get seller to put a claim in against PO for a day or 2 its a lot of hassle but obviously depends on how strongly you feel about it.

Nothing at all.

Got new grips ready to go on, new rangefinder and glove ready to play tomorrow and Saturday. However not having any clubs may put a stop to that!

Contact the seller asking for a tracking number. Parcel force always provide one.

With Ebay selling I look on it as expecting some non-payers and don't get too fussed, in my experience sending a second payment request email after 4 days or so with a polite message usually does the trick and be patient, sometimes people just forget they've bidded or they have gone on holiday etc. 99% of the time they pay up, if not offer a second chance to the next highest bidder.
