Played this morning in some of the worst rain I have encountered on a golf course. It really was biblical!

The waterproofs held up no problem, but the scorecard was almost completely destroyed (by the rain and not just my golf! lol ).

What method do you use to keep the card dry?

I tend to put mine in a scorecard holder and try and fill it out under a brolly and tend to do it every couple of holes so I'm not getting it out that much. The holder tends to give some protection and doing it under the brolly helps

Just wrap it up in a sandwich bag - sorted. I've even used an empty crisp bag before now - salt and vinegar seems to have the edge over ready salted.

in a scorecard holder in waterproof trouser pocket, with the card marked under the brolly worked well for the front 9, however as my cap got wetter, rain drops dripped off the peak onto the card, to almost destroy the card, will try removing the cap before marking the card next time

How about you dont bother to play when its coming down like something involving Noah
a bit of light drizzle...no problem, but if the rain is that bad then the greens will start to pool and thats just silly.

I know when to stop :)

What's rain, we never get that stuff in wettest wales. Lol

there is no solution just try and keep yourself and your clubs dry, more important than the scorecard! You can always get another card in the dry of the changing room ;-)

To be honest if it's raining that hard I will keep the comp scorecard nice and dry in the bag and use a spare then write it up after the round
