Now, I am a little anal about such things, and I even hand wash my car twice a week. I clean my shoes after every game, and apply polish. I wash and dry any ball that has been used. I place every club (with exception to my adjustable driver) in a bucket of water, and then dry each one individually. I clean the top of my TM R15 with a damp cloth, and brush the underside when dry.I then get a damp rag and clean any mud splashes off of my bag. Every week or two I jet wash my trolley.

I am always amazed by people who have expensive clubs that are always caked in mud, and am always annoyed that most of them are far better golfers than me.

club faces get wiped after or before each shot, get a better clean once a fortnight at best. Shoes get blasted by the air machine, wipe them down when I clean the clubs, theyre only golf clubs/shoes at the end of the day. that said my cars lucky to get cleaned twice a year!

I tend to give the lot a clean every couple of weeks, though i do wipe and dry the irons after each shot.

shoes, at the moment i'm on my winter shoes and they just sit in a rack at the club, so stay there untill the comps start them get a clean and change of spikes for next year if they are still ok, if not get chucked in the bin.

Clean clubs after most rounds, I like to look down at clean grooves...though it doesn't make me play any better :-(

Shoes get blasted by airgun and occasional wipe over

You sound like my golfing buddy, everything has to be spick and span and in the right place I just love moving his clubs around in his bag.
Each to his own I say. :)

That's probably because the cleanliness of ones clubs does not correlate to ability. Thankfully that's the case as if it wasn't, I'd be even worse than I am now.

Really should clean my clubs at some point, not been cleaned once since September. They get a wipe with a towel if they get caked in mud after a shot, but that's as much cleaning as they get. Less said about my shoes the better.

I clean my shoes after every round.

I don't remember when I last cleaned my clubs. They get a wipe off after each shot, but that's about it.

Blimey there are some OCD people on here!

I wipe my club after every shot with a towel, that is all that is required to keep them clean. The grips get a scrub every couple of months or so.

Pretty much after every round, might go 2 rounds over a weekend before washing them. Grips every couple of months.

Shoes the same time as the spanners.

HID cleans the shoes after every round (the little treasure). I clean the face after every shot and then clean them again the night before I play. Grips get done every two to three weeks depending on how much I'm playing

I wet one end of my golf towel before playing then wipe each club after a shot so they're generally fairly clean. They did get a scrub tonight because the course i played yesterday had a lot of fertiliser/seed all over the place so everything was stinking afterwards. Started doing the grips too now, never used to but i find it worth it.

I agree, clean after each shot does the trick. I like to sit in the garden when I do a full clean so it's very much a summer activity for me. To be fair, everything gets way more use then so is due a good scrub more often.

Should clean shoes more often as they will last longer with better care. Still, they're not neglected just not loved as much as they could be.
