Had a quick look today and found that I'd won over £100 in prize money since September from comps and 2s club. It's £3 entry per comp so I think I'm slightly ahead - just.

So how much have you won in the last twelve months?

In my last playing year I probably took £50/£60 quid off of forum members.

God knows what I have taken off of the society I played in and other side-bets in the swindle and when out with mates.

One bloke in the society got a hole-in-one and pocketed over a grand. At every outing, a quid a player got chucked in for the hole-in-1 prize and rolled over if no-one got it. It ended up being big bucks.

I've laid out about a grand in bloody entry fees though!!!

Never won any money in a club comp, only time I had a 2 in a comp so many other people got them we got about 4 quid, i've known people get 100 quid plus just for a 2. Other than that i've had a ball retriever for a longest drive from a society, but I don't win anything, ever. Said society has never done longest drive since I won that and i'm convinced it was because I beat one of the organisers! Now they do a nearest the pin in 2 on a short par 4 instead.

Given the number of hazards I visit a very useful one! I actually picked it, they'd been trying to get rid of it for ages! 12 foot extender, very useful!

To be fair it's a very small work society and the company has pulled all subsidy in the last couple of years, so unless we pay even more than we are now we're not going to get much out of it. We're down to a hardcore of about a dozen lazy.... dedicated golfers, the rest have already given up complaining about the rising prices.
