How much do you pay for membership?

I'm in the process of applying for membership. Fees are £1400 plus £650 joining fee (which is currently half price from £1300). It's expensive but going rate around here for a members club which isn't one of the "premium" onese, which are far more.

£745 - no joining fee proprietory course. One of the more reasonable fees around here. Private members courses tend to be around £900-£1100 plus joining fee.

£1040 for 7 day and there was a £500 joining fee, but that has currently been scrapped until the end of May.
It's about average for the area, but I think that we are the only members club in the Maidstone area that fully owns everything we have.

Yeah i like it. I only joined in winter just gone but really enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing the course in all its glory in summer :fore:

£560 per year for full membership and 27 holes of varied golf. Good value but joining fee of £400 puts some people off.

Generally there are 3 types of course in West Yorkshire. You get the reasonable end which will be about £600 a year with no joining fee. Middle courses will be about £1000 a year with £500 joining fee. High end courses will be about £1500 with the same again joining fee. You pays your money and takes your choice but with about 30 courses within 10 miles you get plenty of choice.

Of course there are also the £300 a year low end courses and the high end (Moortown and Alwoodley) where you are talking who knows how much because they dont put it on the website (and you have to know a 5 year member to even get a sniff).

575 :whoo: golf membership is cheap in cornwall old course was only 370 a year but not a patch on this one.
same rate right through i think no concessions i know of except for juniors. 7 day membership play as much as you want also get practice range area (driving, short game range, bunker range, putting grren).

£720 for 7 day membership at sandburn hall in York, really nice course and amazing practise facility's. Well for me they are but I've never had membership anywhere else and only been to a handful of other courses.

£415 cheap and cheerful but a decent test works out about £5 a round

Or about less than 5p a shot!

£365 at Fortrose and Rosemarkie and just joined Boat of Garten for £260. Lots of variety and very reasonable!

All i need to do know is find the time and game to play them!
