I live in Worcestershire and am looking around comparing course membership options at present. It seems that anywhere between £800 just over a £1,000 is par for the course in annual membership with a couple of hundred or so on top for joining fees.

I was wondering if that's about the right kind of cash or what you are paying for your 7 day membership at present.

Courses in my area (West Kent) seem to be around £1,100 - £1,400, although joining fees have been waived in must cases.

This is for normal, good golf clubs that are in need of new members, for more exclusive clubs that arent so desperate I'm sure fees are higher and there will be joining fees also levied.

I pay £650 a year as I'm a concession (under 30), full rate is £1,300

Im at Davyhulme park in Manchester. Ours is £900 ish including bar levy etc. No joining fees at the moment.

Between £580 & £700 for most courses locally, with minimal or no joining fees. Just over £1k for the top two clubs in the area.

Our place was £2200 last year, they dropped it to £1650 this year. It was nice last year though, you could turn up at 9:15am and walk straight onto the tee, bit different this year.
