Quick question, I left my old club at the end of November and have not picked up a club since. Probably going to be March before I take up a new membership somewhere (enjoying the thought of jus the odd game at various courses over Winter). So, when I join up will I need to hand in 3 cards again. I had entered sufficient comps over the last year to ensure that my handicap was a qualifying one if that makes any difference.

If you join a club this year then your HC will still be "competitive"

No need to put three cards in

No all you will need is your I'd number, your handicap will still be valid.

It only lapses if you fail to enter 3 cards during this coming year. Rather like the White Walkers in GoT, if you fail to put in those cards then you join the realms of the ...........(big drum roll) "inactive".
