At my best I believe I'm capable of an exceptional round where I break par but I'm doubtful of getting to a cat1 handicap simply due to the lack of time I have to commit to necessary practice and regular qualifying rounds. Right now I'm going backwards because I'm only touching my clubs once a week if I'm lucky and I seem to lose the feel of the game really quickly in-between those sporadic rounds.

If the former, then no lower than I am now. If the latter, then I reckon I could probably get a good way into Cat 1. Maybe around 3.

I've just turned 25, I don't have plans for kids before I'm 30, so if I don't get to Cat1 in that time I don't think I ever will.

When I'm playing well I think I can go lower but inconsistency is killing me at the moment - too many 0.1s in between the good rounds. Some days I'm so far "off" you'd never think the handicap was as low as it is.

I'm 21 next Monday and hoping to break below 20 this year, hopefully at some point can get into low single figures, only been playing a couple of years so far.

To a lesser extent -that is " further up the handicap scale" - this is me.
Recently been playing really well but then I throw in some really shoddy play which negates any progress made.
To be fair, I'm not unhappy with my handicap. Could get a couple or 3 lower but 6-7 is "comfortable"

High single figs, not got the long game off the deck to go lower.

Mostly get there due to putting, chipping and pitching.

I got down to 10.2 a couple of years ago, but now back up to 11.9. Need to improve my chipping, which is the worst part of my game. If I can manage this I might get down to single figures.
