Is your golf club?

Is there plenty going on at your club? Enough to visit, even for non golf activities?
Does your club keep up to date with its website/information/newsletters/member communication?

I have to say that mine is a bit backwards in the above. A crap and often out of date website. Very little in the way of information regarding what's happening!
It's a cracking course though!!!

Our club is pretty good for that. Website is good (although no hole by hole) and it also has a members forum on it, we get newsletters every so often, noticeboard is pretty well posted and the membership is pretty low (is 300 people low???) so things get spread around by word of mouth pretty easily!

My club is much better at getting events and tee bookings advertised on the new and improved website which makes life a lot easier. They are running a lot of social events, including a Sinatra tribute act on the 19th which pormises to be fun.

They are pretty good in house too of clearing competition notices once the deadline for entry has passed and for clearing down other notices. They try and get the competition results and any adjustments on the board asap. All in all I think they've made great improvements.

I think there are more things they can do wit the website and have raised these with the committee and will wait for their reply
