We used to play the annual Famous Grouse Shotgun Foursomes which had a 6:00am start every year. Takes some doing to get 72 players on the course at that time of day.

I went out early doors once, but when I was on the green the automatic sprinklers came on! Soaked.

Years ago it was a weekly thing to play the local muni at 4.30 before work. We'd get 18 holes in in about 2 3/4 hours. Get a bacon butty on the way into work and set you up for the day, by 3 o clock you would be a bit tired though. Haven't done it for years now, though.

the idea came to me whilst late night boozen last weekend! the sunrise was perfect! im moving to liverpool soon so it will be a nice goodbye to my club! il miss the place! its been my 2nd home for so long!
