Hope you are all enjoying the golf! I am currently sat in the media tent and the US Open and as you can imagine I'm so exited!

If you have any questions please feel free to fire away! I am off to follow the Tiger and Phil show for the last few holes and i will do my best to disapprovingly tut at any one who shouts "get in the hole". I think you will agree that this is a decent British way of dealing with such matters.

Hopefully I will survive and have some interesting observations on my return

Paul

Hows it going out there. Is it hot as the greens look to be drying out or does the wind off the sea help keep the temperatures down.

Do you get a chance to put your name in a ballot to play the course after the Open or doesn't it work like that here

Your a brave man following that group. The amount of people seems ridiculous. The commentators on sky said that people were moving to get a decent viewing position up to 3 holes ahead- is it really that bad?! Any tournament I have been to you just walk over with the players as such. Good luck with seeing some decent action though it must be great. Also what with the seemingly high quality microphones that are all over the course if you tut loud enough we might hear you ;)

Enjoy yourself.

Well Hello Torrey Pines. When are you going to get a real job, and start to hate it like the rest of us, haha. (dont worry am only jelous, can ya tell?)

got so many questions I dont know which one to ask first, yeah I do... What goodies can ya get ya hands on? haha.

What is the feeling amoungst the players out there about Tiger, are they confident that they can win because he's been out for a while, or is it the usual 'uh oh, big guys back, i'll take second'?

A cry of "Jolly good shot old boy" will instantly mark you out as being British Paul! :)

Hope you're enjoying the golf.

It has been said the course is extremely difficult, does this ring true with the players? Are they managing the course effectively?

Good morning Paul
With the afternoon players from yesterday playing early do you think tehy will have had enough rest and be playing their best, or will they be a bit dehydrated and suffering from the sun.
Remember some of the punters on the course may have sidearms and be willing to use them if they are threatened.
will you be having the full english breakfast or the american panckes and syrup?
take care and keep the sunscreen handy.

Paul , as a British jounalist 'on-course' as it were , do you get much access to the players when they're not actually out on the course themselves ? i.e On the range/putting green or maybe in the media village ( if there is such a thing at Torry pines )
I'm guessing the plyers are keeping to themselves biut do you find some guys more approachable than others ? Any different attitudes between the Americans and the Eurpoeans ?

I didn't watch any yesterday so not too sure of the course layout although typically the US open is a long course that favours the long hitters.

The way the course is set up does it favour the ball manipulators or the grip it and rip brigade

Do you know how many spectators they are expecting on Sunday Paul? The numbers seem to be gradually rising during the day today and I think it said on the coverage yesterday that there were 23,000 grandstand seats placed around the course which have been full today and were yesterday so get the rest of the course full and the numbers could be huge.

According to Luke Donald he just said good luck and effed off. I am sure the guy has his head up his own arse. If he walked off after a long iron shot I could understand but after a THREE putt???? TOSSER !!!!!!!!!!!
