Great putter or driver?

What is the point of hitting the ball 300 yds, then not being able to get it into the hole. I'd go for a good putter everytime.
Swing for show and putt for dough............

Driving for me, I've never scored a 7 or 8 because of poor putting, but had plenty of them when I've hit a drive OOB.

Poor putting can make for a poor score, poor driving can make for a disaster.

If it was a choice between driving and overall short game though, then I'd take short game.

Simply because I can't hit the thing to save my life, I wish I was a good Driver.
