So I’m thinking about starting to save up for new clubs, probably looking to buy next summer.

Only an occasional golfer but I am finding my 2007 MP-57s are showing their age a fair bit now. 13 years is a good life.

Only the putter and Driver are safe as I am very happy with them.

The hybrid, wood, irons and wedges are up for change!

If you were in this situation, with a budget of under £1500, what route would you take?

I’m starting to save up now, had a look at irons but realised all the new kit from fairway to irons baffled me!

The last bit of new kit was wedge and driver in 2013, which is why they are safe. The rest I haven’t ever replaced so are from my first proper set built in 2010-13.

I’m sure things have changed but the rest is the same.

Where is good to go these days? Who local to Cambridge can help? (Local range doesn’t do clubs anymore so thinking Girton or Melbourne?)

Some pointers would be great!
