Don't let the conservation people see this info....they'll probably make a law the demands a certain amount of people wear mullets to represent bad taste in the past. (I'm not a big fan of over-conservation as I see it).

I played in a County Members Open last year at a course that I can’t remember the name of at the moment. They had a sign close to the first tee that stated that ‘All GUR is No Play Zone’. I had previously read the Local Rules which didn’t have a GUR/NPZ rule in them. I queried it with the starter, who by chance, was their Club Captain. He double checked the LRs and confirmed what I had discovered.

“So what’s the ruling” , I asked.

“ Don’t worry”, was his reply, “there is only one GUR on the course, you won’t go near it”.
