Course closed for the 4th day in a row. Just back from walking the dogs, it is awful weather, a mixture of sleet and heavy rain, and blowing a gale. Only an idiot would want to play golf in that.

On the other hand. I'm just back from walking the dogs, no precipitation, no puddles, warm and a light breeze.

They definitely jumped the gun closing the course.

Bought a new stand bag (cellophane currently still on the legs) but can't wear woollen jumpers as they bobble when carrying. Hey ho, will need to look at some new outer clothing for winter.

Having been unable to play from March to October I always reckoned that when I start again there would be buggy bans and course closures..............

One of the annoying bits was I went out on our 9 hole course last Wednesday (last day the course was open) and decided not to play a second 9 in case I overdid it.

Playing on my own this morning, lovely day for it. 18 holes after work

Got to the 14th hole (our si1 ATM as they making us play back 9 first so they can work on the front) I had not lost a single ball

So my 13 ball avx ball.. straight in a bush.. deep in

Went to bag got an ad333 out. Same bush

Walked down in a huff put one down just playing for fun anyways .. lost that one

Then put another down where I lost it and shanked into another bush.

So going into the hole I hadn't lost a ball , then I'd lost 4

So walked off in a huff to the next hole. Creamed the drive down the middle then hit a beautiful hybrid to middle of the green .

Didn't lose a single ball after that

I HATE losing balls. Got to be the most frustrating part of the game. And I never lose just 1. It's always 3 or 4, or none.

Prob would have been 1 if I had just walked down there and put another down instead of getting annoyed lol

I was wrong.

After the 5 days of closure it was open for 3 days then closed again today. I didn't get to play during those 3 days.
