Golf Random Irritations

I've never been to a range with either, why the difference?
They are quite different things. Trackman is very technical, gives loads of different parameters and is used by pros when they are giving lessons. Also considered to be more accurate. Toptracer is less technical, but has more fun elements (games such as Go Fish and Angry Birds) for casual/non golfers. Depends on what you want as to which you prefer.

I'm really an odd ball of a golfer. I've been a member at 3 local courses (Oakdale, Ripon, Knaresborough), each has a noticeably different feel. Even though I've been back in the area for over 10 years I've still not played quite a few of the local courses, Wetherby, Harrogate, Rudding, Pannal, and others a little further away.....I keep getting told I need to play with either the Seniors or 2nd team matches, but my experience with a couple of the Senior matches is that they aren't much fun.....slow play and the required meal/speeches etc.
I have been fortunate enough to play all of the courses that you have mentioned. I think Pannal is a cut above the others and Wetherby a little lower ( but I’m perhaps influenced by the standard of the Wetherby greens at an Open a year or so ago).
I thought Rudding Park was very interesting but I wouldn’t want to walk it every day.

The ‘world’s your oyster ‘ in that location for golf.
