I was in the York Outlet centre the weekend just gone. A Crocs outlet shop is due to open there shortly. I'm sensing a weekend away with you and Mrs Tash under the guise of a romantic trip to lovely York, with a quick pop into the Outlet on the journey back :ROFLMAO: .
Hmmpf. That’s what Missis T says about my sexual prowess 😖

Well that's just blooming annoying

Few weeks back (literally 3 weeks I believe?) I found on my way home is a range that closes at 10. (Mine closes at 9) It's better than mine by a mile. Just means different route home.

Last time I got here was RAMMED I got the last bay of 27 at 2045

So I get here 2045 "sorry we on winter hours now we close at 9"

How annoying. Normal actual golfers prob go the range more in the winter

Oh well back to not being able to nip to the range after work then

One range near me doesn't have lighting so it effectively closes when it gets dark. But I cannot think of any other reason for a range to close one hour earlier just because it's winter, that's daft.

There were still people leaving, and considering they sell booze and alike they can smash out all kinds of things. Sure the footgolf, mini golf all is closed but it's literally electric and a couple of minimum wage workers to run it. Considering the amount per 50 balls they sell prob pay for itself in an hour lol 🤣

But then they all close around 7pm at a weekend which is just stupid

The amount of people who aren't familiar with the word 'druid'. Posting here because the golf clothing brand Druids is when it crops up, but I've heard more than one person refer to them as 'droids'.

They are the same :ROFLMAO:
That's why they closed the store for a bit - give people time to hopefully forget the old prices!

I had been curious to see what their prices would be as their stuff is so cheap sometimes that I wonder if they can possibly be making any profit

I had a waterproof golf bag from them a few years ago - RRP was like 160, I got it for £38.... their margins must be pretty thin!

Given they only stock their own gear, the RRPs are completely made up by them. As per the DFS comparison - I doubt they have ever sold that bag for £160, maybe they listed it as that for the first month or so before reducing it.

Not an irritation yet but could by about 4.15 this afternoon...
A 3 ball at my place should take no more than 3 1/2 hours to get round....that's why, before 2.30pm , we only allow 3 balls in competitions
Tee off today in,,possibly, the last camp I'll be playing this year, is 12.36...sunset is 4.10
Should be enough time
Unless the pace of play is slow in which case we'll be finishing in the dark........
Irritation or not?
I'll let you know

We teed off at 12.20 last Saturday by the tenth hole it was obvious after 2 hrs 20 mins we were not going to get around.

When we left the 8th green there was nobody on 11 or 12th hole .
So one game had lost two holes in 10 holes.
We reported it but nothing will happen as usual.
