She is certainly a threat to something.

I’m not sure leaving her standing out on her own for a few hours whilst I play golf is great parenting!
I didn't have to raise kids....I was smart and didn't get married until I was 49!!.....so, take anything I say with a bachelor grain of salt.

I remember playing golf with my brother in the school holidays.

His wife would only let him play if he took the kids with him.

Try keeping young kids out of the bunkers when you are putting.

The weathers looking good and I’m now injured

Knees in bits surviving on ibuprofen gel regular icing and a knee support

Praying it’s just something strained and no tear or bursitis

A couple of weeks ago I played my first comp in over 5 years.. I step onto the first tee, hooked into the tall trees, didn't see it land so reloaded, second drive, hooked again, third off the tee (5th on the card) took an iron, started heading left too.. Found the first ball, took 5 shots to get out of said trees. Ended up with 11 on the first.

Now the irritating bit.. I Recently joined a new club & played 3-4 times a week thanks to the longer days. Averaging 12 over, usually hitting the first shot off the tee fine, in play, usually a bogey 6.

None of it matters as I need to play 5 more comps before I'm eligible for prizes anyway. Next competition is tomorrow & debating leaving the driver at home.

Is a buggy not an option? I understand the expense but when I was off my feet with bad ankles my mood would drop dramatically so I looked into a trolley so I could get round at least 9!

I know how you feel, my knee has kept from golf since March 21st!
I've set late September as a hopeful target.

My front nine holes in the second round of the seniors county champs yesterday. I was 2 shots off the lead after the 1st round. I was in contention until I pulled two shots left on the 6th tee (came over the top) and ended up 5 off the tee. Took the wind out of my sails and finished 8th in the end.IMG_3218.jpeg
