Have you considered a mini driver? Honestly it’s been a total game changer for me. I still hit bad shots obviously but they are much much fewer than with a standard driver and I can’t say I’ve lost too much distance either.

I had one before and gave it away because I thought I was sorted, and now look at me 2 fairways over.
I'll see if I can pick one up cheap, the new TM one crazy is expensive.

I cannot fix my slice, my driving last year was great, got myself down to 14, now back up to 17.5 and climbing all because my driving is shocking.
I sympathise. The same problem took me from 14ish to 19ish in 2022.
I got confidence back and straightened up by putting the driver in its most upright position in the adapter and gripping down a couple of inches. It worked so well for me that I bought a 3-wood shaft with the same adapter on eBay and stuck it in.
Good luck sorting it.

Absolutely creaming my hybrids but unable to hit a decent iron shot to save my life. Any shot between 50 and 140 yards is a nightmare as a result.

Declared a 9 hole round yesterday as we don’t always get chance to do the full 18 in the evening. Played level par for the first 9 (and got a small cut) but we managed to get all 18 in and I shot my lowest ever score! Still, at least I know I can do it, just got to repeat it

The price of balls! Just looked for some TP5 pix as I found one the other day and quite liked it (then lost it)... £52.99 per dozen! Are they having a laugh or what?

Our course at the minute.

Yesterday there were 11 players in a field of 50 that NR'd.

Why you might ask? Lost balls in the rough.

I'm all for long and punishing rough, but when a 4 ball cannot find a ball that's just crept into the rough (and appears in no trouble leading to a player playing a provisional) its a bit ridiculous!

Greens have never been better though :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I know I've complained about arranging ties , but I've got a guy who's is already a nuisance. Played my last tie on Tuesday night and didn't tee off till 3pm, result went on the board at 6.30. I had already received an email with dates by the time I got back to Inverness. I've since had two other emails and a text to organise the tie, we have till mid June to play. Had the same against him.last time when I had Salmonella poisoning and was ill for 6 weeks.
I appreciate he wants to get it sorted, but give me a chance🙄🤣

Not looking forward to it tbh, when I played him last time I gave him 15 shots, he's pretty steady player and on every hole he got a shot which was most he had to say, that's me there for nothing 🤣🤣

Yep, two weeks ago I hit my irons the best I've done for a fair while, every shot laser straight and won the Club Stableford competition. Last two rounds it feels like I'm a beginner, can't hit an iron half as well as I did only 2 weeks back, and, because I only felt the swing change for that one game I can't work out how to find it again!

Boy am I brassed off!
