Typically I can't find it now! It was on the TM website though.
The limited edition ones are £49.99 on there. Still mental, but yeah I did a double take when I saw over £50! Now I can only find the button that says "Find retailer"

Don't get me wrong, £45 is still pretty extortionate. Slightly under the ProV1 and ChromeSoft offerings which are £48! I'm currently using AVX that I cunningly had on my Christmas list, but honestly I don't think they're any better than the Bridgestones I was using a while before, so I very much doubt I'll be paying £48 for another box of them. I'll go back to the Bridgestones which are 35-40 depending on where you look and which iteration of the ball they're selling.

I remember at a club that I used to be a member of, we had been queing up on the first tee for some time in the cold, just about to tee off as a 2 ball, the captain walks out of the clubhouse with his mixed 4 ball, announced that he was using his captain's privelege to jumpt the queue and with that also announced that they would try not to hold us up too much. So, not only did he jump a long queue in the cold whilst he was in the warm having a bacon sandwich, he cut in front of a smaller group with a 4 ball and announced that he was not letting anyone through. I got back to the clubhouse and resigned my membership.

Think I’d have given him a gobfull and THEN gone and resigned my membership. I’m all for club officials being allowed some privileges, but there’s no excuse for selfish arrogance.

Yesterday there were 11 players in a field of 50 that NR'd.
Why you might ask? Lost balls in the rough.
I'm all for long and punishing rough, but when a 4 ball cannot find a ball that's just crept into the rough (and appears in no trouble leading to a player playing a provisional) its a bit ridiculous!
Greens have never been better though
Ours is rapidly heading that way now it’s a little warmer and there’s some growth. A few years ago our second cut was knee to waist high in places and ridiculously thick. Miss a fairway by a yard and you were dead.
Fortunately we have a new head greenkeeper and he is sensibly narrowing many of the fairways and having a wider first cut. That is stopping drives taking a bad bounce from the middle of the fairway, disappearing into the cabbage never to be seen again. If you’re in the second cut now it’s because you deserve to be there.

Sounds just like me. Two weeks ago won a team comp hitting the irons as well as ever. Since then been all over the place.
It worked, I wanted to wring his neck by the 5th, FYI he got 4 shots in the first 5 holes

Our rough looks to be heading the way it was a few years back…like yours and like you…hit the ball just off the first cut rough and you could lose it. Even the first cut was very thick. We had to spot as accurately as we could the very spot our ball went in. Why wasn't the rough being cut? Our head green keeper explained his difficulty…that by him cutting the rough he was simply encouraging it to grow and thicken even more….besides…where was he supposed to put all the grass.Our course at the minute.

I believe this spring we have purchased a machine that will help with thinning the rough, I think.

Just had an email for the new FJ Hyperflex trainers for wearing off the course. Loving the white version with the pink and blue highlights. But........ I have just bought some new trainers and can I really justify yet another pair? Dilemmas, Dilemmas.
