It's registered in Italy and selling at auction, therefore it's being sold world wide.
Here's another couple of pictures for your delectation;

Stunning. I remember drooling over cars like this in car mags (Fast Lane?) in the 80s.

My dad got a mk2 GTI in 1986 that I got to drive. What a car that was.

Would it not be better to sell that in Europe?
Paint looks mis-matched but maybe that's just the picture.

They were all LHD. A few did get converted at the time by Hartge i think, and then probably a few done in 'daves shed', If i wanted an E30 M3, it would have to be a left hooker.

Ooooh, another E30 M3!
This one's an M3 Sport Evolution, one of just 600 built.
It's a 1990 model with 89,000 miles on it and produces 238bhp.
This could be big bucks!

Oh my word, look at this absolute beauty, a pristine 1964 DB5 with 43,000 indicated miles and powered by a 4.0ltr straight six.
This'll fetch mighty big bucks.

And of more relevance to this forum, is that last picture taken at a golf club? Which one?

I've no idea which course, but the car is owned and kept in London.
My word, the British did make some beautiful cars.
The auction is now over .......................... and it failed to reach the reserve price, whatever that was.
A couple of hours ago it was stuck at £650,000.

This could be interesting for those who like a fast Ford, they really are very popular right now.
It's a 1986 LHD RS Turbo with 37,000 miles on it and is all original.

My boss had one of these back in the day, he let me use it a couple of times, remember taking it down the M4 to visit a customer. This was mid 80's, I was a lot younger and stupid... I remember having a little "tête-à-tête" with a Lotus S3 on the way back. The RS had a really strong argument and the Lotus driver lost his wind. Had a bit of a revelation that day, scared myself a bit too much, I've never had an argument like that since....
