Bloody hell.....I used to eat there in the late '80's when I lived in Forest Gate!!!!

Their Chicken Chilli Bhuna was amazing.

Me and the Mrs used to live off Water Lane mid 90s and it was our local, I used to love their Chicken Rogan Josh, Madras hot.
It was a classic Indian, flock wallpaper, sitar music and very low lighting…

We still go back there a couple of times a year for old times sake! It’s a smarter modern place now but still great.

Somewhat surprised it is still going....gonna have to find a day when I need to take a train journey from London and get off at Maryland for a quick bite to eat!!!

The other place I used to eat at in them days...The Akash at Manor Park...has long gone.
