I think that they all 'work' pretty similar hours in general. I'm sure they all train pretty equal and that's work as far as I'm concerned. My primary reason for the question is that I don't think the woman's game brings in as much revenue and is actually a drain on the men's game.
But by that argument I am sure the women tennis players train just as hard as the men. As for revenue then possibly, but then again I'd pay good money to see 3 sets of Sharapova V Wozniacki, more than I would to see 5 sets of Tsonga V Gasquet. And the top 4 most highly paid female athletes over the last few years have all been tennis players. Plus in tennis, only Federer earned more than Sharapova last year. And her, Serena and Li Na all earned more than Andy Murray.
