Having played 4 medal rounds over a couple of months, the results are up on the board.
There were 3 of us tied.
The names are in alphabetical order.
I asked the results secretary , how it was worked out.
First he said "I don't know",then said its what the computer came up with.
My question how is the winner established, thankyou.
In my eyes its a 3 way tie.

Conditions of Competition should be decided before it starts so there should be a method of determining the winner.
If there isn't then it's a 3 way tie unless you all agree to a playoff of some sorts.....

Agreed, the possibility/probability of a tie in an eclectic should have been recognised. Some sort of play-off needed, as you say.

Get your sec to look at the software guide. It will almost certainly have the process specified. There may even be an option (unused) to determine ties.

What software is it?

Sorry don't know what software it is.
Will get him to look at the guide though.
I agree an Eclectic comp could easy end in a draw, and an outcome should have been put in place.
