My wife always uses hoppi ear candles on me as i have similar problem. there available at hair salon stock shops if that makes sense such as salon services etc

Thanks again for all the advice/comments. Be very surprised if it was a wax problem though as the symptoms come and go where as with wax which is compacted it is permanent until removal? Will know more when dentist visit is over

Saw the Doc this morning and no wax build up and no infection. She said that both Ears look completely normal. So something else must be the cause

Saw the dentist this morning and they said there is nothing that has shown up o their scan so told me to go back to the Doctor, went this afternoon and she if referring me to the ENT clinic at the local Hospital as the scanning equipment they have is far better than the Dentists. So should know soon when my appointment is.

No never have, Very rarely have gum or anything like that. If it was that though I would like to think the Dentist would have picked that up earlier this morning.

I had glue ear as a boy, grommits never cleared it. Then when I was 14 I had a few wee bones removed due to disease. At 17 I had a radical mastoidectomy, where they removed everything in there and put some skin grafts in. When I was 23 they opened it up again and filled it with ceramic granules to stop infection. I got something called cholosterema ,which is a progressive infection of the bone so at 28 they removed the ceramic material d some more bone. Finally at 30 they opened it up again, chipped away some more bits n bobs and sealed my ear up.
I now have a cracking 6 inch scar.
I hate ears but I call my right one "the wife's ear", its bloody useful sometimes

Wow mate I thought I was having problems with mine!!! Not really any help to me that but I feel your pain. I am single so do not need a wife's ear yet so would rather have it cured.

I suffered badly the past year with sinus issues and had this quite a lot.
Try doing a steamer with olbas oil or vics in it every night. It will soften and loosen ant mucus in their that might be causing a blockage and drink plenty of water as it thins it down too.
