Dress standards at the Club

Hey fair does to you Sid, i think thats great.
A serious question though. Do they really sell plus fours in your pro shop??
I've never seen them for sale anywhere, except on t' web..

Yes they do, pudd - certain months of the year of course.
From memory £49 incl the full length socks.
Go on, they put yards on your drive!

You would struggle to get into a lot of clubs in Surrey then, as a lot have a no denim rule. Personally think private Clubs can have whatever dress rules they like, and if you don't like them don't play there. Would mean you don't get to play Sunningdale, Swinley, Hankley, Worplesdon, West Hill, Woking, St Georges Hill etc etc, which I think would be your loss.

This. Have a Kit Kat on me.

I have no problems with dress codes, if a club has a dress code then if you want to play the course then you need to follow their rules. I just wish more clubs would take a stance as to what is now allowed on our courses and a good starting point would be players ability to play the game.

That's a whole new thread, Bomber!
