Certainly do. Previous course had lots of water and very useful it was too. Bought a fancy telescopic one that is great, folds down small and hardly takes up any space in my bag! Best time is following the monthly men's medal - all those shiney new Prov1s just sitting out of reach for those without a retriever...

This:D

I carry one but it is the telescopic type that folds down to about 15 inches and hides away easily in a side pocket of my bag. I've used it more fore retrieving FC's balls from the pond than my own. All of which were grateful for me retrieving their precious Pro V's
yes, I'm over 50 but have owned it many years. I don't know what the problem is in carrying one. I suppose it is the same as people who won't use a pink tee a black glove or a yellow ball all year round.

This.....^^^^^^^^^
If you guys are happy to say goodbye to your ball lying in 6 inches of water or just out of reach in a hedge, then good luck to you....more money than sense in my eyes. I have a a telescopic one from when I started playing and see no embarrassment in admitting it!!

No. But when I was a kid I had one of those rubber tee holders come ball washers with a sponge in it. Now I just use spit.

I pulled a brand new ProV1 out of a ditch this morning with my scooper, obviously lost earlier by someone who "would never carryone of those things"
