A ball retriever. They seem to be mainly carried by old men with Howson clubs that use Pinnacle balls :mmm:

I take one to Spain as it's so easy to lose balls, and a ball retriever can save you getting scratched to buggery. Don't carry one in the UK though.

My regular PP is 50 in a couple of years, I am looking for a ball retriever/thing that goes on the end of a putter to lift balls from the hole gift pack

You could also chuck in a pack of those 3 rubber triangular tees on a bit of string too

I used to, but son took it and he carries it who is under 50, doesn't have howson clubs(do they still make them!!) but does have the odd used pinnacle in his bag for winter golf :)

There is a bit of water around our course, but not a lot really in play.

You can joke but I would have killed for one of them this weekend, far eaier than trying to hammer a tee into the frozen ground!

I've bought some golf mat tees(the rubber ones that fit under mats normally), but I just put them on top of the ground, they work good and go tall if you have a big headed driver.

I carry one but it is the telescopic type that folds down to about 15 inches and hides away easily in a side pocket of my bag. I've used it more fore retrieving FC's balls from the pond than my own. All of which were grateful for me retrieving their precious Pro V's
yes, I'm over 50 but have owned it many years. I don't know what the problem is in carrying one. I suppose it is the same as people who won't use a pink tee a black glove or a yellow ball all year round.
