Derbyshire suggestion please

So why don't the ladies lay up (like I actually did :o)? Some may then be able to get on the green on the 2nd shot, but even if they get on for 3, 2 puts is a point if they do not get any strokes, and is 2 points if they do get a shot. Made a change from just automatically blatting a driver as you do on a lot of holes.

Yes that was one par 5 that turns left, and there's one earlier that turn right with a hidden green from where you hit your second, which was interesting as we'd never played the course before.

Many can't get over the water with the 2nd/3rd shot, it's too far and especially coming from a downslope - some have been known to putt along the path at the side of the pond!
The majority of players, even the biggest hitters tend to lay up as it's into the prevailing wind and easy to lose a ball if slightly off line, what with deep rough both left and right of the landing area. At stroke index 1 many just treat it as an easy'ish 5, and hope for an U&D for a 4.
