Could you go without either phones, tele, computers etc.

I seriously think I could go without tele for a very long time, but not the others.

I watch lots of rubbish but feel I need tele for the news and weather.
However after todays complete balls up and false info I think I just look out the window in future.
Predicted 14 mph winds but actually closer to 35mph.

What is this tel-e you speak of Obi-one? I believe we have such a device but I've not seen it functioning for quite some time. Does it bring great knowledge and power?

I have one of those pocket phone things, which also receives heavy use of the off switch. The home phone thing makes quite a noise but my Zen-like powers allows me to ignore it. This practice annoys my Entertainments Prevention Officer greatly.

Sadly, my Zen-like Jedi powers let me down when it comes to the computor, which sees many hours of use each day for work and play.

God forbid...... People would have to actually speak to each other :)

I could go without tv, even a mobile phone......but how would I get onto the forum or book a tee time without a computer

Yes. I'd imagine it would be easier than you'd think.

I'd maybe have to pop into Currys now and then to get my Lucy Verasamy weather fix though. :)

If you mean just at home, then not having a phone (mobile or land line), TV or Computer, wouldn't bother me at all, I'd read more, probably exercise more, get out on the course more and sleep more.

Unfortunately, work would be a different story, as I work in IT supporting an EMEA wide network, so a computer is essential.

Went without phone or computer for around three weeks when I was in hospital last year. Only saw snippets of TV during that time ....... Bliss

In 2006 i was in Oz , we spent 3 days on Fraser Island ,no phone signal on most of island , only 1 tv in the communal room in the hostel , best ive ever slept , never missed them 1 bit.. Hadnt got a computer with me

Not sure i could do without having my phone now in case the kids need to make contact
