Not sure that an outing day could be considered regular![]()
I want our away days at other courses this year to be handicap qualifying. How does this happen in practice? I assume they should be treated as General Play cards. Do you ask people to submit their own general play cards (and hope that they do?). I could always enter the scores that dont get entered by the individuals themselves. Its bonkers to me that I cant just set it up on our handicap system as a qualifier in the first place?! Whats the difference? Scores still go in as qualifiers in the end.I found today that there has been further clarification in the Guide to the rules
Clubs are strongly encouraged to ensure that, whenever possible, competitions run in an authorized format are considered as pre-registered for use as an Acceptable Score for handicapping purposes. (GA AppendixA)
