Club Throwing after a Bad Shot

Lots of examples of why throwing should be the go to option!!

I bent all the clasp and strap on the watch my wife bought me for our wedding. Throwing my clubs in a pond and buying replacements would have been cheaper and less stressful!!

Ouch !!! Maybe a course of yoga/meditation is in order.

Where are most clubs chucked, off the tee or around the green ??:D

I think the lie and wind direction have to be taken into account before a decision is made. Last thing you wanna do is throw a club OB :D

yup, once threw a printer out of a window as it kept jamming.

I did "tutt" once and raised an eyebrow after a particularly bad shot!

I saw Merv79 tap the ground with his club after knocking his tee shot OOB on the 18th at Carnoustie when he was 1 under par.

Shocking behaviour!

Made birdie with his 2nd ball to shoot level par though

You can always throw a provisional...

I play with a guy we call the Fracker. He spends that much time hitting the ground/bag/trolley we're convinced he's looking for gas.

I think I'm going to incorporate some yoga/ meditation into my pre shot routine! Zen calmness must be achieved before hitting shot....Tantric golf!! ;)

In all honesty it's not the club that needs throwing, it's yourselves, off into the nearest lake as it's you who holds and swings the club???

Never done it, but love watching it happen. I'm more of a "strong word with myself then burst out laughing" type. My arms are too fragile to start throwing clubs.

I was playing with my boss when he hit his 3 iron about 10 ft off the tee. topped the next one 2 foot, then a air shot followed by a 1ft fat Shot. He took a step back and closed his eyes. Once he had regained his composure he took a big swing and topped it so bad it just popped up in the air. In pure frustration he turned to the side to hit his ball into a farmers field....... He hit the nicest longest 3 iron I have ever seen. He took in a deep breath and snapped his club over his knee! Only the club didnt even bend and ended up with a knackerd knee. I was on the floor gasping for air

More likely to question the balls parentage, have never chucked a club i'm far to tight to risk the damage.

have played a few comps with chuckers, have to say I normally just stand there sniggering like a school child sometimes I will pick it up for the said chucker and say it appears you dropped this.........

Never chucked a club but used to lose it and swing viciously at thin air like a mad woman. Damaged my ribs once too often doing that so now go for a sneaky kick of my trolley wheel which releases some tension so long as I don't miss it!
