Ladbrokes offering 4-1 on the Chubby Slam. I may take a piece of this, I really fancy Westwood to be inspred by Clarkes success and if he fails you've still got the likes of McIlroy, Els, Oosthuizen and Schwartzel on the ticket.

Does Westwood really need any more inspiration? If Clarke's win 'inspires' him then surely that implies that he currently lacks the belief that he can win.

I'm not impling he lacks belief, just that if he can do it then so can I. Every bit of encouragement can help. Just my opinion.

I would say one of his stable will do it, I dont think lee has any particular game that is an advantage around any particular courses.
Rory, Long and high shots, decent short game (not great but improving) and a revelation (compared to last year) in putting since the start of the year.
Clarkey, great wind player and doesn't let the conditions get to him.
Lee, decent all rounder who can get himself to the top of the leaderboard early but cant seem to stay there, this rules out his game and ability, if he can score well he is physically capable. This leaves the mental side.
There is also Louis Oosthazen (sp), Charl Schwartzel, Ernie Els to name but a few. I dont see Lee winning anything, perhaps being given it maybe?

Just read a peice by Pete Cowan ,about Westwood ,discribing his puttin&g as "shocking",and that he needs to get into
contention more often, instead of picking and choosing when to "peak" and that your only as good as your last round all said and done,I know he's a big pal of darren & co,but there
major winners and he aint..
