Not necessarily. There's a SI 3 par 3 at my club. It's about 160 yards downhill with only about 25% of the green front protected by a bunker. I've often seen totally duffed shots run down and onto the green... Near the pin even. It's a bit of a downer losing a hole to a net 0 when your opponent didn't even hit a decent shot..... SI isn't simply a measure of the difficulty of the hole.
Anyway, sorry to the OP that all this is being debated in your thread. It's all relative and we've all been delighted to shoot 86 at some stage so well done and keep improving! :thup:
I understand that but, that could happen on any hole, not just a par 3. Better players are, or should be more accurate but some par 3's if long and narrow could be a nightmare for some H/C's.
