Caddington - what do we know?

Just curious what people know about Caddington golf club, in Luton? I've done a search through the post history, it seems it used to be nice, then it closed for a few years, maybe due to dodgy owners?? It's open now though and I'm looking to play there with my family golf group next month. We don't need anything fancy, and it seems to be £20-25 green fees which you can't argue with. Looks to be some reasonable holes with a bit of water about.

It closed so that they could dump truck loads of rubble on it from the bypass rebuild and other stuff

It’s ok , it’s a pay and play course that’s decent value at the price
